Is the code really mine?
Yes. The Laravel project sits in your repository from day one, and the contract transfers the rights to the code to your company. If you want to switch vendors, the system goes with you.
Can I maintain the system without you?
Yes. It is a regular Laravel project, with models, migrations, controllers and Blade screens that any PHP developer can read. It does not depend on any service of ours to run: the framework that builds the screens ships inside the project.
What if the scope grows along the way?
The proposal says what is included. If something new comes up, we quote it before building it, and you decide whether it goes in now, in a later phase or in the Ongoing plan. Senior review never gets dropped from the project to fit a price.
I already have a database or spreadsheets. Can you reuse them?
Yes. MadBuilder works with the tables you already have and with six databases: MySQL or MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Oracle, SQL Server and Firebird. Importing all your spreadsheets is already part of Essential. Management also includes migrating the database you already have.
What about data protection (Brazil's LGPD)?
The contract has a data protection clause: MAD Solutions only processes your system's data to build and maintain what you hired us for. The system ships with access roles, two-step login verification and an audit trail. On MadCloud, data is hosted in São Paulo.
How long does it take?
Essential is ready in 3 to 4 weeks. Management takes 6 to 10, with deliveries every 15 days. On Ongoing, deliveries are weekly. The exact timeline goes in the proposal.
What does the warranty cover?
On Essential and Management, for 90 days we fix any defect in what was delivered at no cost. A new request is not a defect: it comes in as a scope change. On Ongoing, support is included as long as the subscription lasts.
Do you also build mobile apps?
Yes. The team specializes in React Native: the iOS and Android app comes from the same code and talks to the same system. On Ongoing, the apps are part of the subscription. On Essential and Management, the app goes into the proposal as a module, with its own scope and price.
What if I want to stop midway?
On Essential and Management, if you drop out after the first demo, you pay only the deposit, and what was built so far is already in your repository. On Ongoing, after the first 3 months, just give 30 days' notice.
